state of Orissa, invites applications for the post of Junior

EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATION & GENERAL CONDITIONS :
Essential
Qualification :
Software
: B.Sc. (IT)/BCA or Degree in any discipline with
PGDCA of minimum one year duration.
The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination
from a recognized University/Institution (AICTE approved)
with at least 60% marks in aggregate. However, the minimum
percentage of marks required is 50% for SC & ST candidates.
A pass in Oriya language Test equivalent to M.E. standard
is essential. Alternatively, the candidate has to pass the
requisite language test in Oriya within one year of appointment.
Desirable
Qualification & Experience : (i) Certification
in SQL & PL/SQL Oracle (8i/9i)/OCA/CNA/CNE, OR CSQA. (ii)
Minimum of one year Post Qualification experience in programming
using Oracle 2000 developer tool with oracle 8i/9i as back
end data base or Software Quality Assurance Principles and
practices.
Age
Relaxation : Relaxation in upper age limit allowed
up to 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3years in case
of SEBC candidates.
Reservation
: Reservation of posts will be as per ORV Act and
Rules.
Selection
Procedure : Eligible candidates shall be called for
written test. Only those candidates who qualify in the written
Test shall be called for personal interview at Bhubaneswar.
The date and venue of Written Test shall be intimated in due
course.
Travelling
Allowance : The candidates shall be required to appear
for the Written Test/Personal Interview at their own cost.
Only SC/ST candidates called for the WrittenTest/Personal
interview shall be paid to and fro 2nd class train fare/bus
fare by shortest route.
Service
Bond : The selected candidates at the time of joining
the post will be required to sign a service Bond on Non-Judicial
Stamp paper to serve the Company for a minimum period of three
years.
Medical
Fitness : The candidates selected must be free from
physical deformities/defects and conform to the medical standards
stipulated for the purpose and as certified by the Company's
Medical Officer.
How
to apply : Application along with the Bio-data and
copies of certificates in proof of age, qualification, experience
& caste shall be accompanied by Accounts Payee Demand
Draft for Rs.200/- drawn on a Nationalised Bank in favour
of DDO (Hqrs.), GRIDCO, Bhubaneswar payable at Bhubaneswar.
SC/ST candidates need not pay application fee. In proof of
caste, SC/ST/SEBC candidates are required to furnish copy
of caste certificate from the competent authority. In case
of SEBC candidates, the certificate should have been issued/revalidated
by the competent authority on or after 01.01.2003. The envelope
containing application along with a self addressed post card
for acknowledgement purpose should be marked on the top "Recruitment
for the post of Junior Manager (IT)" addressed to the
Manager (HRD), MPP & Rectt., Gridco Hqrs. Office, Janpath,
Bhubaneswar-751022 so as to reach on or before 12.01.2004.
The applications received after due date or incomplete applications
will be rejected without any further correspondence.
Candidates
working in State/Central Government/ Public Sector Undertaking
should send their applications through proper channel or shall
produce a "No Objection Certificate" at the time
of personal interview. |
