- The BG format for EMD for this tender (TW-IT-/06/2008-09) is hereby appended to the tender document.

Clause 4 i)
Time and Date of opening of price Bids shall be read as 13.02.2009 16:00 Hrs. instead of 16.02.2009 16:00Hrs.
- Clause 23 under Section-III is modified as the following.
Section-III
Clause 23. Terms of payment :
(i) 75% of the material cost shall be paid subject to the following :
a) On receipt of the approved material inspection report in respect of the material supplied.
b) On receipt of the material by consignee in good condition.
c) On joint verification of the material supplied
d) On receipt of pre-receipted bills and delivery challans in quadruplicate towards material supplied.
(ii) 15% of the material cost and 90% of cost of the service components shall be paid only after completion of the whole job on turnkey basis and delivery of all deliverables as per the purchase order / contract and furnishing the Composite Bank Guarantee.
(iii) After completion of the job, pre-receipted bills towards balance of payment of the contract in quadruplicate along with necessary delivery challans and related documents should be submitted to the authority for arranging the payment.
(iv) No advance payment in any form will be made.
(v) Handling of foreign exchange component and customs clearance, if any, must be taken care of by the bidder.
(vi) The supplier shall furnish Bank Guarantee of appropriate amount to OPTCL covering 10% (Composite Bank Guarantee) of contract price for release of balance 10% payment. For this purpose the contract price shall mean firm price. The BG shall be kept valid for a period of 40(forty0 months from the date of delivery of the I.T Items or 36(thirty six) months from the date of successful completion of installation of the I.T Items, whichever is earlier.
