TENDER NOTICE NO. 31/2008-09

Prebid meeting held on 06.01.2009, clarification furnished to Bidders against OPTCL Tender Call Notice No.31/08-09 and Tender Specification No.66 & 67/08-09 for construction of (i) 2 x 40MVA, 220/33KV Sub-station at Banai and (ii) 2 x 12.5 MVA, 132/33KV S/S at Barbil.

- P.V as per IEEMA shall be allowed for the items as per Clause No.7 (i.e. price variation clause) taking November-2008 as the base date instead of July, 2008.
- The bid validity period shall be for 240 days for both the bids agaist above mentioned tenders.
- For Barbil Grid S/S, the transformers shall be 2 Nos. 12.5 MVA, 132KV/33KV.
- Firms, who desire not to submit the signed copy of the tender documents, can submit an undertaking that they are agreeing to all the technical & commercial terms and conditions of OPTCL as per the bid document un-conditionally.
- Firms can agree to all the G.T.P. of OPTCL unconditionally for which may not submit further G.T.P. of equipment if they so desire.
- Estimated cost of package-I i.e. for Banai is 20 Crores & package-II for Barbil is 18 Crores.
- The standard weight of Isolator structures for 132 KV are as follows:-
(a) 132 KV S/I without E/S- 0.621 MT
(b) 132 KV S/I with E/S- 0.643 MT
(c) 132 KV D/I with E/S- 1.105 MT
(d) 132 KV D/I without E/S- 0.963 MT
- All the 132 KV bus bar shall be Double Zebra Bus bar
- All the 220KV bus bar shall be Double Moose bus bar.
- All the 33KV bus bar shall be Single Zebra Bus bar.
Firms shall quote the H/W fittings and conductor for bus bar stringing respectively for all the above Grid Sub-stations.
- The firms shall quote their rates against Annexure-III, item 15 of 33KV side of Banai Sub-station, Tension H/W fittings for Zebra Conductor and shall also include the cost of 500 m of ACSR Zebra Conductor for bus bar stringing.
- For Barbil Grid S/S, 132KV side Annexure-IIIitem 4 shall be read as 132KV D.I instead of S.I.
- Entry Tax and Service Tax to be excluded from the quoted price but work contract tax to be made inclusive.
- Only mild steel shall be considered for the Sub-station and Line Galvanised Structures
- Soil resistively for the sub Station may be assumed as 100 ohm mtr
